6. CONVAIR-580 IN-CLOUD FLIGHT TEMPERATURES IN KWAJEX/TRMM
Figures 6.1-6.15 show the temperatures at which the Convair-580 flew in clouds. The times given are University Time Coordinated (UTC). Gaps in the plot indicate periods when the aircraft was not in cloud. UW flights 1787, 1790 and 1800 on August 2, 8, and 31, respectively, are not shown because there were no significant cloud penetrations on these flights.
For the purpose of these plots, the aircraft was taken to be in cloud when the FSSP concentration was 2 cm
